A Swedish fashion model and actress, Victoria Silvstedt was born on September
19, 1974 in Skellefteå, Sweden. Victoria Silvstedt grew up in a
small village close to the Arctic Circle, and was raised in a middle
class Scandinavian family with an older sister and a younger
brother. Nearly six feet tall, with platinum blonde hair and icy
blue eyes, Victoria’s supermodel status and physical beauty is
celebrated all over the world.
In 1993, Victoria entered into the Miss Sweden Beauty Pageant, which
she went on to win and after winning the content she was signed by a
Parisian modeling agent and began to work for various companies
including Chanel, Christian Dior, Loris Azzaro, Givenchy, Valentino,
and Giorgio Armani.
In 1996, Victoria did a photo shoot for Playboy and was subsequently
named Playmate of the Year in 1997. After this she appeared in
almost countless magazines that icludes GQ, MAXIM, FHM, GEAR, Nuts
and many more… She made a guest appearance in the number of movies
that include Basketball, Boat Trip, The Independent, and Out Cold.
In 2001, Victoria released her first album called “Runaway Girl”.
She was also the host of the Wheel of Fortune on TF1 alongside
Christophe Dechavanne in 2006. She has represented a number of major
brands as a product spokesperson including Nike, Renault, Coors,
Radisson, Killian’s, and Blockbuster.
In addition to modeling, acting, and singing, her favorite hobbies
are horseback riding, and of course, downhill skiing. Victoria can
speak multiple languages that include Swedish, English, some French,
and Italian - plus some Norwegian and Eskimo-Inuit.Victoria
Silvstedt is married to broadcaster, Chris Wragge in 2000.
